What you've been waiting for

Are you ready to make lasting change

in your life?

Get ready - It's about time

Change is an ever-present part of life, but you need to know where you are in the process to be successful.

Have you been sober curious for a while, but nothing you've tried has stuck?

Maybe you've cut back, taken a break, tried Dry January, or promised yourself you'd drink less—only to find yourself right back where you started.

The good news? You don't need more willpower. You need to understand where you are in the process of change. In this workshop, we'll walk through the five stages of change and help you figure out where you are, what's been getting in your way, and what might actually help you move forward.

I know how you feel

Does any of this sound familiar?

You've made broken promises to yourself

“I’ll just have two.” “I’m not drinking tonight.” “This is the last time.” You meant it when you said it. But somehow, the promise keeps getting broken—and the disappointment that follows can be worse than the drinking itself.

You've tried meetings, many times

Maybe meetings have helped you. Maybe you’ve gone faithfully for a while, then stopped. Maybe you’ve tried several different kinds and still haven’t found what clicks. There’s nothing wrong with you if one approach didn’t stick. Sometimes, you just need a different way of looking at change.

You've said, "I'll change next week"

Next Monday. After vacation. After the holidays. When work settles down. When things aren’t so stressful. There’s always a perfectly reasonable time to start—except somehow, that time keeps moving further away.

You're not on your own

You’re struggling with this issue because...

You’re trying to change a habit before you understand the process of change. Knowing you want something different and actually being ready to do something different are two very different things. And neither one happens in a straight line.

You may be stuck somewhere between “I really need to do something about this” and “Okay, but what the hell am I actually supposed to do?” That in-between space is where a lot of us get stuck.

The good news is, you’re not broken, and you’re not failing. Change is a process, and understanding that process can make it a whole lot easier to figure out what comes next.

Here's What You'll Learn

You’ll learn how change actually happens—and how to recognize where you are in the process. We’ll break down the five stages, uncover what may be keeping you stuck, and give you practical tools to help you move forward at your own pace.

Learning

Understand where you are and why change feels so damn hard.

  • You’ll learn the five stages of change and discover where you are in your own journey. No judgment, no “you should be here by now”—just a clearer picture of what’s really going on.

  • We’ll unpack the thoughts, behaviors, and emotions that tend to show up at each stage, so you can recognize your own patterns instead of wondering why you keep ending up back where you started.

  • Most importantly, you’ll stop treating change like an all-or-nothing decision and start seeing it as a process.

Planning

Turn awareness into a plan that actually fits your life.

  • Once you know where you are, you can figure out what you actually need next. We’ll look at the obstacles, triggers, habits, and head games that can get in the way of making a change.

  • You’ll identify the next step that makes sense for you—not the step someone else thinks you should take.

  • Because a good plan isn’t about being perfect. It’s about making change feel possible.

Executing

Move from “I should” to “I’m doing it.”

  • Knowing what to do is one thing. Actually doing it when life gets messy is another. We’ll talk about putting your plan into action without relying on willpower, perfection, or a magical Monday morning.

  • You’ll leave with practical tools and a clearer idea of what your next move looks like—and how to keep moving when motivation inevitably takes a vacation.

  • The goal isn’t to change everything overnight. It’s to take the next right step and know what to do after that.

"When we consider making a big change, the first thing that sets in is a combination of excitement and fear. I want this lesson to help make the fear disappear.

So excited to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kristen Crisp

Not Even Wine With Dinner began as I set out on my own journey toward sobriety. After decades of using alcohol to cope—and losing my big sister to cirrhosis—I knew something had to change. Not just for me, but so I could turn my experience, heartache, and creativity into something that helps others.

I’ve always loved being on a kind of stage. Whether through years in retail design, teaching yoga and wellness, or working in humanitarian aid and missions, I’ve always been drawn to connection and storytelling (thanks, ADHD brain).

From that mix of experience and passion, Not Even Wine With Dinner was born—a space for humans, especially in midlife, to rediscover who they are without the numbing, the noise, or the guilt.

I hope that you’ll come along for the journey—and find yourself, and love what you find.
